Martin’s Homestead
Welcome!! Whether you are looking for a loving and gorgeous companion on your walks, or simply a new best friend for your child, look no farther. We have been breeding beautiful Golden Retrievers since 2020. We register all our dogs with AKC, and strive to breed for a calm temperament, blocky head and silky soft coats. We love the amazing shades of color that goldens come in, and strive to offer everything from a striking deep red-gold to a lovely creamy white. We are confident we can help you find your new puppy friend.

Testimonial:
Martin’s Homestead in Nora Springs, Iowa, stands out as an exceptional breeder. Throughout our 35 years of having Golden Retrievers, this breeder has surpassed all others we’ve encountered. Our puppy was incredibly well-socialized, showcasing remarkable intelligence and a serene temperament-qualities that have made her the most delightful addition to our family. Astoundingly, within just two days she adapted seamlessly to night-time routines and was fully potty-trained within 10 days.
Her adaptability to new environments and swift grasp of new commands continue to amaze us. Undoubtedly, she is the brightest Golden Retriever we’ve ever had the pleasure of raising. Working alongside Melissa Martin was an absolute joy-the care and dedication she invests in her puppies is evident. Based on our experience, we wholeheartedly recommend Martin’s Homestead in Nora Springs, Iowa, to anyone seeking a loving and well-cared-for addition to their family. T. G.
